How to use recycle bin option
AWS Recycle Bin
- AWS Recycle Bin is a feature that allows you to recover accidentally deleted resources like Amazon EBS snapshots and AMIs.
- When enabled, it keeps deleted resources for a set retention period before they are permanently removed.
- You can define retention rules to decide how long deleted resources should stay in the Recycle Bin.
This helps prevent data loss caused by accidental deletions and gives you time to restore resources if needed
Example Use Case:
If you delete an important AMI by mistake, the Recycle Bin can store it for, say, 7 days, allowing you to restore it before it’s gone forever.
